Design Data Network between Ethiopia and Sudan
Gruppo SIGLA recently completed, for an important customer operates in electrical distribution networks, design and preparation of technical specifications for the implementation of interconnection of network data between Ethiopia and Sudan.
The purpose of the entire project was to carry out a technical and economic feasibility study for the interconnection of Ethiopia and Sudan through an Extra High Voltage (EHV) network.
Specifically Gruppo SIGLA has been involved to define the telecommunication network requirements necessary to support this new section of the EHV network and ensure full interoperability with the existing system.
The study was completed by means of the realization of the detail design of the new telecommunications network, which has provided for the introduction of new nodes interoperable with the existing ones. The next phase, that will be the execution phase, is expected.
