Integration between Qlik Sense and R
Qlik recently showed the latest release of Qlik Sense, the next-generation solution for Business Intelligence (BI) and Visual Analytics self-service. Based on a fully integrated, cloud-ready platform powered by the patented QIX associative indexing engine, Qlik Sense combines governance functionalities with the best capabilities for analytics, data visualization, exploration, advanced analytics, and self-service data preparation.
Through its open API, Qlik now offers the integration between the best generations of languages and elaborations, advanced predictive analytics and an immersive experience that includes augmented intelligence. In particular, Qlik has provided a free connector to R, programming language and open source software environment for statistical and graphic processing, a fundamental tool for Big Data Analytics, as it is able to extract meaningful information from big data sets and represent them in comprehensible way. Thanks to this integration, Gruppo SIGLA is able to combine the power of the Qlik associative model with advanced analysis, to better support use cases, such as sales forecasting, fraud detection and inventory management.
