Proofpoint Email Protection
Proofpoint Email Protection is a simple cloud solution to implement to secure inbound and outbound emails. Email Protection allows you to identify and manage various problems due to the use of email today: spam, fraudulent emails, phishing, spear phishing, malware, unwanted newsletters. It is known that most cyber attacks start from email, so protection based on a simple antivirus or antispam is not enough: something more specific is needed.
The Proofpoint solution foresees that the protection takes place through a multilayer content analysis, which allows to identify both already known threats (signature-based detection) and those not yet known through a dynamic reputation analysis, continuously updated based on the analysis of Proofpoint.
