Automation of Huindo hydroelectric power station
After years of experience in Italian hydroelectric plants, Gruppo SIGLA lands in South America for the realization of the automation system of the renewed Huinco power plant , in Peru.
Within a larger project, which will also involve the Moyopampa, Matucana and Huampani power stations in the two-year period 2020-2021, the bond with one of our prestigious customers, an international leader in energy and automation technologies, is strengthened, thanks to an activity that will lead to the automation of 11 generation groups for a total installed capacity of over 500 MW. The automation and supervision system of the plants is entirely developed by the SIGLA Group in its offices, and will allow automatic operation and production optimization of the plants which will be supervised from the remote teleconduction station in Lima.
Gruppo SIGLA is currently handling commissioning at the first Huinco site, with its own working group which plans the realization and the start-up of numerous other automation systems for hydroelectric power plants in Italy in the coming months.
