Gruppo SIGLA finances a PhD
Gruppo SIGLA - a company of Relatech Group - finances a position within the PhD in Electrical and Information Engineering (XXXIX cycle – Academic Year 2023/2024) of the Politecnico di Bari .
In particular, the PhD is part of the NextGenerationEU initiative, under on PNRR, Mission 4, component 2 "From Research to Business" - Investment 3.3 "Introduction of innovative doctorates that respond to the innovation needs of businesses and promote the recruitment of researchers from businesses".
The research topic will be "Study and design of global control systems for the optimization of Waste Heat Recovery (WHR)" and will be carried out in synergy with the ZHENIT Research Project, in which SIGLA Group participates as a partner. The project is funded by the European Commission under the research and innovation program Horizon Europe. In particular, the industrial research activity will be included in the project activities coordinated by SIGLA Group, focusing on the design, implementation and integration of a specific monitoring and control platform for the automation of usage logics of waste heat and for the optimization of the energy parameters of all the systems involved on board the ship.
