Gruppo SIGLA's commitment to electric mobility

On 20 and 21 September 2023, Gruppo SIGLA - a Relatech Group company - took part in the OCPP Plugfest event organized by the Open Charge Alliance (OCA). The participation of Aaron Garfagna (Technical representative of the E-Mobility area of the SIGLA Group) allowed the company to acquire updated knowledge on the OCPP protocol for communication with electric charging stations, developed by OCA, and to have a preview of the new features provided in version 2.1.

On the one hand, this experience thus opens up new opportunities for us to continue our in-depth analysis of the sector, adequately preparing ourselves for the upcoming challenges of the global transition to sustainable mobility. On the other hand, it further consolidates the high-level skills that Gruppo SIGLA has accumulated in the field of E-Mobility over the years, allowing us to carry out significant projects for numerous prestigious customers.

In particular, the skills acquired by the SIGLA Group in the Electric Mobility sector allow for the complete management of these devices and to facilitate communication between the various actors involved, collectively providing the possibility of:

• manage devices and charging sessions via OCPP protocol via Web interface;
• manage roaming between operators via the OCPI protocol, both from the point of view of a Service Provider and a charging point operator;
• manage multi-operator and multi-platform roaming via the Gireve and Hubject protocols, both from the point of view of a Service Provider and a charging point operator;
• offer a series of services to third parties to interface the system with different platforms (e.g. Mobile);
• offer simulation tools for charging stations or charging stations to digitally reproduce environments on which you can test your platforms.
